a.b-a^2=a^2-b^2

Let 1+1 be x
Then 1+1 = x
1=x-1
Replacing 1 , we get
1= x-(x-1)
= x-x+1
1= 1
Hence we cannot solve this problem , because we are getting the same result.
By hit and trial method, we get 1+1=2
Then 1+1 = x
1=x-1
