6x+-2+2x=-2+4x+8
8x - 2 = 4x + 6 (simplify for each side)

8x - 4x - 2 = 4x - 4x + 6 (subtract 4x to both sides)

4x - 2 = 6
4x - 2 + 2 = 6 + 2 (add 2to both sides)
4x = 8

x = 2; is the solution.

Good Luck/
4x/4 = 12/4 (divide both sides by 4)

x = 3

6x - 2 + 2x = - 2 + 4x + 8
8x - 4x = 6 + 2
4x = 8
x = 8/4 or 2

Answer: x = 2

Proof:
6(2) - 2 + 2(2) = - 2 + 4(2) + 8
12 - 2 + 4 = 8 + 6
14 = 14

6x+ -2 +2x = -2 + 4x + 8
8x - 2 = 6 + 4x
4x = 8
x=2

8 x - 2 = 4 x + 6

4 x = 8

x = 2

6x + (-2) + 2x = -2 + 4x + 8
6x - 2 + 2x = 4x - 2 + 8
6x + 2x - 2 = 4x + 6
8x - 2 = 4x + 6
8x - 4x = 2 + 6
4x = 8
x = 8/4
x = 2

6x+-2+2x=-2+4x+8

okay, first unscramble it- if there are 2 signs next to eachother, make it so then there is only one.
so 6x-2+2x=-2+4x+8
simplify so we haven't got too many numbers in the way.

8X-2= 4X + 6.
put all the 'X' numbers on one side by adding one of them to the other side, and taking it from the side it is already on, and the same with the rest of the numbers.
so we take 4X from the right (which means we have to add it to the left)
and we take -2 from the left (which means we have to add it to the right; remember, if you are taking a NEGATIVE number, you are actually adding it on to what is there, and when you are adding a negative number, you are actually taking it away from what is already there)
so we now have 4x = 4. which means that X=1 (because 4X actually means 4 times X. so what number to multiply with 4 to get 4? ONE!!!!)

first get all the variables together by getting them all to one side and doing what you do to one side that you did to the other. so if you subtract lets say 4 (this is not part of ur problem) from one side of the equation you MUST subtract 4 from the other side of the equal sign. and its PEMDAS (paranthases, exponents, mult+divide, and add+subtract) dont forget the exponents part!

6x+-2+2x=-2+4x+8

First add up all of the variables and numbers.
8x - 2 = 4x + 6

Now you want to put all the variables on one side and the numbers on the other, so I'm going to add 2 to each side and subtract 4X from each side to get:

4X = 8

From here you want to divide by 4 and you get the answer of X = 2.

Also in general with algebra remember the order of operation PMDAS or you will get into trouble.

first
6x+2+2x=-2+4x+8
x=1
sec
6x-2+2x=-2+4x+8
x=2

i hate algebra
boring ****

combine 6x and 2x to be 8x "8x-2=..." then -2+8 "8x-2=6+4x"
then move alike terms to their own side of the "=" you will get "4x=8"
then divide by 4 x=2
