that is 1 cm : 8000 cm, or 1 cm : 80 m.
therefore 1 cm ^2 on map = 80m x 80 m = 6400 m ^2 actual area.
for 4 cm^2 , actual area = 4 x 6400 m^2 = 25600 m^2.
