請問 “霧面” 的英文要怎麼表示呢？

現代的手機等3C產品，為了增加質感，表面常會處理成 “霧面” ，請問這 “霧面” 的英文要怎麼表示呢？外國人又怎麼稱呼這種 “霧面” 的效果呢？

我自已想了幾個，但都不太順
霧 - - fog, mist
面 - - surface

fog surface - - 似乎不太像？
unsmooth surface - - 不平滑表面，不太能表達出 “霧面” 的感覺。

可否請精通3C產品翻譯的達人解惑？

路人甲的答案很對，我上網查了一下matted surface，這種表面的相關描如下： microscopically tiny protrusions and recesses, on the surface formed by honing or barrel finishing 我想再請問一下： honing finishing 與 barrel finishing 的中文是？？

版主說3C產品，iPhone應包括在內吧？　^^

前陣子盛傳iPhone殼身會出現黑色霧面新版，英文寫法：

"a matte black look"或" "a matte black finish

只寫霧面a matte finish即可

1.) 金屬材質: with a brushed surface treatment; brushed aluminium
2.) 烤漆: matt surface; matt black
the varnishes are available in gloss, satin, and matt.
3.) pantone color 分類為 coat, uncoat, matt

通常依底材和製程來選擇適當的用語,

一般這些產品的質感說明, 在英文裡不會真的像中文那樣寫成"霧面", 英文只會用"Foggy"來表示它是"霧面"材質, 所以只需要寫成"Foggy"就行了~~
