✔ 最佳答案
5(x+3)=35
[5(x+3)]/5 = 35/5
x+3 = 7
(x+3)-3 = 7-3
x = 4

5(x + 3) = 35
x + 3 = 7
x = 4

Answer: x = 4

Proof:
5(4 + 3) = 35
5(7) = 35
35 = 35

5(x + 3) = 35
x + 3 = 35/5
x + 3 = 7
x = 7 - 3
x = 4

well..
first you wanna get rid of the LAST thing that was done to x.
and thats multiplying by 5.
so you divide each side by five (because the opposite of mulitply is divide).
your left with ' x+3=7 '
now you want to do the same thing as before, eliminate. so you take away three from each side (becuase subtraction is the opposite of addition).
your left with ' x=4 '

5(x+3)=35
5x+15=35 (distribute)
5x=20 (subtract)
x=4 (divide)

first distribute the 5 to the stuff inside the parenthesis.
so...
5X+15=35
then get the try to get the X by its self.so take the 15 to the other side by subtracting it so you would have...
5X=20
know get rid of the five next to the X so divide 20 by 5
so you should get
X=4

5(x+3)=35
or,x+3 = 35/5
or,x+3 = 7
or,x = 7-3
therefore,x = 4(ANS)

5(x+3)=35

5x + 15 = 35

5x = 35 - 15

5x = 20

x = 20/5

x = 4
