It s really hard for us to offer how much sleeping pills to dog. It offer by the body mass and the age. When you talking about the small amount sleeping pill. we hardly can measure at home correctly. If a healthy dog, they could fall in sleep easily.

To be honest, offering pill is not the best solution for your dog, because you want he to put in sleep and not to bark in midnight. However, if you offering too long time and too much pill to him. It s not good for health in a long term.

It s sound like more behaviour problem to me. So, it more important to find out the reason why he bark at the midlight? Have you try to train a command " speak"?

It is a behaviour problem for your dog to bark at 2-3 am. Giving pill to your dog is not a long term solution and it s harm your dog's health if you offering pill to your dog in a long term.

Honestly, back to the point again... They unlikely will offer the pills to you because it s a behaviour problem. Pill can help in short term only. Some of the vet nurse is not going to offer it to you.
