(1) For each of the 25 sample sets of 5, calculate the mean and range.
(2) Average out the mean and range obtained from (1).
(3) For X Chart,
UCL = Average of mean + A2 * average of range
LCL = Average of mean - A2 * average of range
(4) For R Chart
UCL = D4 * average of range
LCL = D3 * average of range
