It doesn`t !

(1/5)^(1/5) = 0.725
√2 = 1.414

(1/5)^(1/5)
= 0.72477966...

= 1.41421356...

They are not equal to one another.

Are you sure? My calculator says it is closer to sqrt(2)/2

it doesn't.. â2 is approx double the answer. 1/5^1/5 is the same as the 5th root of 1/5
