when trying this etude there are something you should notice:
1. within wide arpeggio there are notes that are accented, those are actually comprising a melody (or say a specific harmony), so other notes you can just play as ornaments, not as equalizing all notes.
2. if you are still capable after three pages (totally around 4 pages), there are two possibilities: 1 is you're a really competent pianist, another one is that you are even not aware of your own physical extent. if it's the second one, you need to pay attention: (point 3)
3. of course you need to relax to avoid hurting your fingers, knuckles and arms (not for left hand obviously), but truely how it's hard to describe (sorry for that), i'll try: try not stress too much on knuckles, they easily feel exhasted and hurt if you do; and think you can play all those arpeggios and scales really well without real physical effort. if you want to grasp what is relax, try watch the videos of Valentina Lisitsa playing chopin etudes on youtube. she's truely relaxing when she plays, although sometimes her tempi are too fast (that's irrelevant).
that's all i can give. hope they help.
