I think that your :- sign is being taken as a - ve sign by some.

root A/root B = root (A/B)

root 45/root 125 = root (45/125)
= root (9/25)

-√45/(√125)
= -√(3^2 * 5)/[√(5^2 * 5)]
= -[√(3^2) * √5]/[√(5^2) * √5]
= -[3 * √5]/[5 * √5]
= -3/5

45 = 9*5 so root 45=root(9*5)=3root5
root125=root(25*5)=5root5
root45/root125=3root5/5root5=3/5
