Maths equation problem?

Im trying to get x by itself.

0=4sin(2x-(pi/2))-2

pi is the pi symbol. x is the x I'm trying to solve
please shows steps!

it becomes:

4sin(2x-(pi/2)) = 2

so

sin(2x-(pi/2)) = 1/2

2x - pi/2 = pi/6

2x = pi/6 + pi/2 = 2pi/3

so x = pi/3

Then sin(2x-90)=1/2=sin30
2x-90=30
x=60deg

4 sin [ 2x - Ï/2 ] = 2
sin [ 2x - Ï/2 ] = 1/2
2x - Ï/2 = Ï/6 , 5Ï/6
2x = 2Ï/3 , 4Ï/3
x = Ï/3 , 2Ï/3
