Playoff season is over... you know what that means...?

Beards getting shaved.

I saw Zetterberg shaved his beard right after Detroit lost... I didn't recognize him at FIRST, but a second later I went OHHHHHH YEAHHHH.

I watched the Penguins parade a few hours ago, and forgot how those guys looked without their beards.

Does this happen to you too?

BQ - When do you see the Salary Cap RAISING... it's predicted to go down to 55 million (relatively the same) for this 09-10 year... down to 50 million for 10-11. So when will we actually see it, RAISE again?

What teams will be harmed the most when it actually does get down to 50 million?

Beautiful Stranger - I don't have a link but I know what you're talking about! He said he didn't grow beards because that isn't his superstition. That he won't make others shave their beards because of him having success/being point leader because everybody has their own superstitions... etc etc.

I didn't even notice, do goalies do the beard thing? I think the cap is 56.7 million next year. I don't think any one team will suffer from the lowering of the cap but the NHL as a whole

Casey- I don't think osgood can grow a beard anyway....

I see the cap going up when and if the economy ever comes back around. I think you might even see a contraction of teams if things don't start turning around in the next couple of years

... it's like George Parros without a mustache or Ovechkin without horrible teeth

Yeah same thing with me didn't recognize harley any of the players.

when i watched the parade I said "Wow two months and you forget what your players look like without the beards!"

I was like that last year (except we didn't have the parade)

And so the hardest three months of the year starts...

Yeah,
they definitely look different.
You get used to the beards after a while.

I got stuck shaving my head because of my "so called" friend... not only does he get $150 from me he freaking shaves my damn head and my playoff beard...damn Islanders fan
