f (x) = x -5
when x =2
f(x) = f (2)
f(2) = 2-5 =-3
f ( 2 ) = 2 - 5
f ( 2 ) = - 3
f(x) = x - 5
f(2) = 2 - 5
f(2) = -3
just plug the given value of x which is 2 in x-5 and you will the get
f(2)=-3.
you just have to substitute 2 in place of x
lol Just plut 2 in for x.
Replace x by 2, and do the substraction.
Plug in 2 as x.
f(2) = 2 - 5
f(2) = -3
-3
all you do is plug 2 in for x
