Should I be a quarterback or runningback.?

Hey I'm 14 and I am going to be a freshman this coming school year. I am 5' 9" and weigh 140 pounds. I can bench 125 llbs and leg press 460 lbs. I run a 4.7 forty and I can't decide whether I should play running back or quarterback. The high school is running a west virginia type spread offense and the coaches told me that they need two running backs on the field. In other words he said that the quarterback should be as fast as the running back. What should I do?

Can you throw is the question. Your forty is pretty good, but if you can't throw well enough, than you could be a runningback, but you still need good hands. Hope this helps!

why not wideout if you can run a 4.7 40.. would be easy to out run people and get open.. if you can catch

You don't decide where you play, the coach decides. You don't bench 125 and leg press 460 because you were never in a lifting program. You don't run a 4.7 forty because you don't get timed for that in middle school.

I wouldn't count on playing, that's what you should do.
