please explain how Magnetic refrigeration can cool a system lower than 3K? please don't copy from wikipedia.?

how do you expect us to answer without wikipedia?

from what i gather [i.e. in layman's terms] magnetic refrigeration works by slowing down particular movement on a subatomic scale.
since movement is heat, the lack of movement must therefore be a lack of heat.

might wanna check it though.
