x= 10
100x + (-89x)= 110
100x -89x= 110
11x= 110
11x/11 =110/11
x= 10
100x + (-89x) = 110
100x - 89x = 110
11x = 110
x = 110/11
x = 10
100x+ (-89x) = 110
100x-89x=110
11x=110
x=110/11=10
100x-+89x = 11x
11x=110
x=10

100x+-89x=110
11x=110
x=100/11
or
x=9.09
100x+ -89x = 110
11x=110
x=10 answer//
x = 10
100x - 89x = 110
=>11x = 110
=>x = 10
Hi I assume you are just starting algebra I will try and keep it simple
100x + (-89x) = 110
is an equation and you want to find x.
first the extra + should be elimated its like multiplying bye 1
1 times anything = anything
100x - 89x = 110
now see that each on the left has an x . that means x is common to both so lets remove it and put it outside a bracket and the other number alone inside the bracket
x(100 - 89) = 110
see how that is the same because when you multiply x times the stuff in the bracket you multiply x time 100 and x times - 89
now you can calculate whats in the bracket simple subtraction
x(100 - 89) = x(11) = 110
11x = 110
now divide both sides by 11
11x/11 = 110/11
x = 10
I hope that helps with the steps to solve those types of equations ..
Good luck
Rewrite equation: 100x-89x=110....11x=110
divide by 11 each side to isolate x...
11x/11 = 110/11.....that becomes the ANSWER: x = 10
參考: math tutor.
x=10 because 11x=110 so u divide 110 by 11 to get x=10
