how many terms are there given 2y + (x-z)?
回答 (5)
2y + (x - z)
= 2y + x - z
There are three terms: 2y, x and -z.
2y + (x - z)
Just do away with the parentheses by multiplying each term inside by 1.
2y + x - z = 3 terms.
3; 2y, x, and -x....you have to drop the parenthesis
