昂貴 (ang gui) - expensive
參考: I'm Chinese
sorry but it may have a spell mistake.
if it is "expensive", it means "high in price"
and in chinese it will be written as "æè´µç” spelled “ang' gui”
hope this helps
Expencive is not a English word.
æè²´ç means expensive.
é«å¹ç means at high price.
è²»ç¨æµ©å¤§ means great expenditure.
I think they say gua.
參考: chinese learner
they say gÄo áng é«æ
or áng guì æè´µ (it can have also a positive meaning, more like "precious")
but normally, chinese people tend to consider rather rude such a direct statement, so they are used to say: "not so cheap", that is
bù tà i pián yì ä¸å¤ªä¾¿å®
I think you should learn how to spell in English before you worry too much about Chinese.......lol! :)
(Not the air fare, anyway...hehehe.)
