昂貴 (ang gui) - expensive

sorry but it may have a spell mistake.
if it is "expensive", it means "high in price"
and in chinese it will be written as "昂贵的” spelled “ang' gui”

Expencive is not a English word.

昂貴的 means expensive.
高價的 means at high price.
費用浩大 means great expenditure.

they say gāo áng 高昂

or áng guì 昂贵 (it can have also a positive meaning, more like "precious")

but normally, chinese people tend to consider rather rude such a direct statement, so they are used to say: "not so cheap", that is

bù tài pián yì 不太便宜
