Let X be the number of hours watched by women.X ~ N(34 , 4.52)
For the one percent of women who watch the most TV, let the time be C
P(X > C) = 0.1
P[z > (C - 34)/4.5] = 0.1
(C - 34)/4.5 = 2.32666667
C = 44.47
So, those women watch 44.47 hours of TV.
