He ain't the same God. He ain't "God" in general. He was a wise man who gotin over his head. Paul is to blame for everythign else.

Jesus isn't the same God as the God of the old testament. The God of the Old Testament is the Father; Jesus is the son of God of the God of the Old Testament.

Jesus is "Immanuel" (God with us); God manifest in the flesh; the express image of His person (Isaiah 7:14; 1 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 1:3.) They're one (John 10:30); but they aren't one and the same (John 14:1).

IN JESUS CHRIST, GOD THE FATHER, ERETNAL LIFE, AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD, THE MYSTERY AND MANIFOLD WILL OF GOD ARE REVEALED, FOR GOD WAS PLEASED TO HAVE ALL HIS FULLNESS DWELLING IN HIS ONE AND ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, EVEN JESUS CHRIST, WHO IS THE VERY IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD. HE IS THE EXACT REPRESENTATION OF GOD THE FATHERS OWN BEING.WAS BORN OF TE VIRGIN MARY, AND IN THAT JESUS CHRIST, WHO WAS THERE IN ALL ETERNITY WITH GOD THE FATHER, BECAME FLESH IN THIS WAY, DWELT AMONG US FOR A WHILE, BEARING THE PHYSICAL HUMAN SPLEDOR, SO THAT HE COULD REVEAL THE MYSTERY OF THE DIVINE/INVISIBLE TO ALL THE SEEN AND UNSEEN, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN PHYSICAL CREATIONS WHICH HE HAD BECOME PART OF. HE CAME TO LIBERATE ALL UNIVERSAL, AND EARTHLY CREATIONS FROM DECAY, DISORDER, AND CONFUSION INHERENT IN THE THEM AND TO LIBERATE HUMANITY FROM THE SAME CORRUPTION AND DECAY.
NOW JESUS CHRIST STAND FOR AND REVEALS A NEW COVENANT OF GRACE AND HE FULFILLED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW FOR US AND HE BECAME THE ONE TO BE THUS CHASTISED AND JUDGED FOR US, SO THAT US, AND WHOSOEVER, BELIEVE IN HIM, WILL SHOULD BE SUCH UNDER THE CRUDENESS AND CRULETY OFTHE LAW OF MOSES.
JESUS IS OF AND FROM GOD AND THEREFORE THIS NEW DISPENSATION OF GRACE IS/WAS FROM GOD THE FATHER FOR JESUS CAME NOT TO DO HIS OWN WILL BUT THAT OF GOD THE FATHER.
