passive voice has 3 tenses
present=is/am/are +pp
past=was/were +pp
future=will be +pp
Sometimes it has 'by' or something to deteat
But when there is no 'by' or others , how can I deteat it?
Eg. Next month, I will be rewarded the Long Service Award.
He soon was released.’ I couldn't help myself laughing after I
had heard the story.

點解Passive Voice 後無 by(1) Understood
The road was built. (by worker - 可以不寫, 係人做知路係由工人整, understood 可以不寫)

when there is the word "by",it can obviously mean that we can use passive voice
when there is without the word "by",you should clearly know the SUBJECT and OBJECT in the sentence.
for your first example,"I" is the SUBJECT and the Long Service Award is award by other people,you cannot award the Long Service Award yourself,so passive voice is used.

There are more than three tenses that can be expressed in passive voice.
What you have to do is to know all the tenses that can be expressed in passive voice so that when you see one, you know it is one of them.
