the problem is:

(2√7 +4)^2


(7 is the only number under the radical)
pleasee try to tell me how you got the answer (:

(2√7 + 4)^2

= (2√7)^2 + 8√7 + 8√7 + 16

= 28 + 16√7 + 16

= 44 + 16√7

=4√49+8√7+8√7+16
=4*7+16√7+16
=28+16√7+16

wat it is saying is:
(2times the square root of 7+4)(2times the square root of 7+4)
*sorry i dont know how to make a radical sign
then u would use the FOIL method
i would continue, but it would get confusing b/c i cant make a radical sign

= (2√7 + 4)(2√7 + 4)
= (2 * 2)√(7 * 7) + (4 * 2)√7 + (2 * 4)√7 + 4*4
= 4(7) + 8√7 + 8√7 + 16
= 28 + 16 + 16√7
= 44 + 16√7
= 4(11 + 4√7)
