There are 2 beakers,a and B. a contains 100cm3 of solution with 40% of alcohol, B contains 100cm3 of pure water. If 60cm3 of he solution iinB is added to A, find the percenage change of alcohol in A .
The Answer is 25%.

volume of alcohol in A = 100cm3 * 40 % = 40cm3Total Volume of solution after mixing A and B = 100 + 60 = 160 cm3
% of alcohol = 40/160 * 100 % = 25%
