in spite of 同desspite

你好，是的，in spite of 的确跟 despite 是一样意思的，也是一样的用法，它们也是可以跟 although 相似的意思，可是在句子上的用法会有点不一样的。

我们通常在 in spite of 和 despite 的后面都会用一个名词 (noun)，代名词 (pronoun) - this / that / what etc. 或动名词 (gerund) 的。

In spite of / Despite the rain, we enjoyed our holiday.

不过，我们通常在 although 的后面都会用主词 (subject) + 动词 (verb) 的。

Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed our holiday.

而我们用 even though 当你要讲述某样事物时比用 although 更加强烈的。
