(4)呢, 不是個完整動詞, 根本不必考慮

至於會不會是被動? 不是耶! 本句主詞 featues 造成 price 升高, 符合正常的主動語態: [ 行為者+主動動詞+接受者 ]

而且 increase 這個動詞不會有被動的用法, 因為它的意義有兩種:
(1) to become greater or larger in number/size/amount
例 The population of this city is increasing rapidly.
(2) to make (something) greater or larger in number/size/amount
例 The store will increase(=raise) the price of coffee from $5 to $6. 實在沒有機會用被動哩!!

其實還有不少動詞也如此:
1. The driver stopped the car. (重點是動作的行為者 driver)
2. The big car stopped. (重點在動作的接受者 car, 感覺有被動的味道, 但是不必寫成被動)

像這一類的動詞有學者叫他們: ergative verbs

而 including 是介係詞哦 也不是分詞

此句可以簡單看成是在考應試者分辨S的能力, 進而選擇適當的V
或者說, 只是個簡單的敘述句, 用過去簡單式跟現在/過去完成式都可以通

1. 是現在簡單式之第三人稱單數主詞才可用的動詞變化,而此句之主詞為features是複數, 所以應改為increase才符合現在簡單式用法.
3. 是過去式之用法, 所以不管單複數都對的.

因為主詞是複數 the extra features on this cell phone，這台手機額外的功能，重點是「功能」（許多的功能，因此加ｓ）而非手機。　

答案裡沒有現在式increase，所以就選過去式increased。
