Going to MEPS tomorrow?

you will get there really early in the morning and wait around, a lot.
They take your blood pressure and check your eyes (check your eye sight and to see if you are color blind). If you have glasses you should bring them just incase. Then they check your hearing. After that they bring you into a room and go brief you on filling out medical forms, this is where they tell you that they will check your records and tell you not to lie to them. Then you fill out a bunch of paperwork on your medical history & take a breathalizer. Then you go on and give blood to check for hiv and urine sample. next you go in a room and wait in your underwear for the doctor.. the exam takes like 2 minutes tops, they ask you questions that you already answered about 20 times already and then check ear nose and throat and your butt. then you duck walk and other little exercises so they can see how nimble you are and joint stability. after that you go back and meet with your liason, answer a few questions about traffic tickets and things like that and then pick your job. then you have a final meeting where they ask you if you lied about anything, get finger printed and then go back to your liason, sign a few more papers and then wait around and get sworn in. it doesnt seem like too much but you will be there for awhile. when i went i was tehre from 6am to 4pm and there were only 17 of us that needed to be processed.... if you havent taken your asvab then you will have to do that at some point during this time.

Gazelle basically summed it up perfectly. Mine also lasted from around 4:30 (wake up call) until around 5-6 p.m. Don'tt sweat it, it's easy and with the electronics of course there was time that i wish i had my cell phone,ipod. But it just didn't seem necessary because everyone else is kinda told to not bring it so basically you just sit around and talk with other people. For sure bring your glasses because you will have to take a vision test with them on. And yes you will be in a room with 10 other guys but you will be in your boxers. When your in the full nude you will be just 1 on 1 with a doctor. Yes they will look at your butt but they will not touch, basically he says bend over spread your cheeks (2 seconds later) ok put your stuff on your good to go. If you have ever gotten a high school football/basketball/soccer/wrestlingphysicall it's the same thing but more in depth. You will have to take a piss test with a guy watching you, were i did it we all lined up next to urinals somewhat with our right shoulder against the urinal so we were urinating almost sideways so that they could see we were really peeing into the cup. Not a big deal if you have ever taken big showers with your team mates. Good luck.

You need to ask your recruiter this kind of question. You could get some very misleading information on here from people who just love to mess with other people who are joining the military.

yes you will have to walk around like a duck in your boxers and the doctor will grab your balls and tell you to turn your head and cough and the worst part is when he yells at you and tells you to bend over and spread your cheeks.
