There is=There are=那裡有:(is 是用在單一的對象,are是多於一個)
There is a boy.那裡有一個男孩
There are a lot of girl.那裡有很多女孩

It is=這是:(it只可以用來形容死物和動物)
It is a computer.這是一個電腦

They are=他們是:(are是多於一個)
They are student.他們是學生
如果要形容一個對象,要用he=他 .she=她 .it=它 這些都是用is
i=我 .you=你/妳 .we=我們 .they=他們/她們 這些是用are

(It is)和(They are)的分別是(它是)和(他/她們是)
