Try Claymore. That one is a bit weak in the plot department, but not enough that you would notice.

If you're into manga, try reading "Blade of the Immortal", it dosen't have too much fighting, but just as a character drama, it amazes me. And when it does have fighting, it's amazing. But watch out, it has some pretty R stuff in it. :P

Full metal alchemist...I think you can even watch episodes on hulu.com! Hope you enjoy it as well! ^_^
