i have doubt about the area consider half of the diameter i.e. the radius, after one complete turn, the area swept is Pi*r^2 now that there are two radii, the area swept is Pi*r^2*2 anything wrong?

Period of rotation of the rod = 1/10 s = 0.1 s
When the rod has revolved one complete turn, the area swept by the rod
= pi x 1.2^2 m2, where pi = 3.14159......
Since magnetic flus density B = 0.25 T, the magnetic flux swept by the rod
= pi x 1.2^2 x 0.25 wb
Using Faraday's Law,
induced emf = change of magnetic flux/time
i.e. induced emf = pi x 1.2^2 x 0.25 /0.1 volts
