1.lovely 係adverb or adj?

lovely = adjective
She is a lovely(adj) girl.

2.news(新聞) 數到 or 數唔到?
news = an uncountable noun
We can say " some news" ,
If you want to talk about one piece of news,

a piece of news 就 數到

a piece of news two pieceS<- of news ( we count "pieceS".)
words like equipment, software,furniture and information are all uncountable nouns

a piece of equipment
a piece of furniture

you may say " a piece of news", " two pieces of news".

3.After leaving school, I will apply for an acting course .
點解唔用leave,要用leaving?

After is a prep
we need to use a gerund after that
After leaving (gerund) her, I felt so happy.

但如果話那單新聞。
那就數到。
