What is reported question?
Reported question is a type of question that is said by third person. For example: Mary asked, "Who are you?" You need to change to Mary asked who I was.

We use reported question when we want to say something that someone had said but you want to ask somone this thing again.For example : Tom asks,"What should I do?" He asks what he should do but you also have a problem like his , however you don't want anyone to know it is your problem so you borrow his name to asks this question!!! Change it to : Tom asked what he should do. Remenber put the subject before the verb!!!

Say who was talking and use a reporting verb. Repeat the question word, or use if or whether for yes / no questions. Statement word order, change the pronouns and move the tense back if necessary.
