Do you like tatto?或者like後面加冠詞?

『Do you like tattoo?』 你喜歡刺青嗎?
『Do you like a tattoo?』你想要紋一個刺青嗎?
『Do you like the tattoo?』你喜歡這個刺青嗎?

冠詞的使用，的確很讓東方學生頭痛。

冠詞分兩種
特定冠詞 the → 意指特定某種東西
不定冠詞 a/one → 沒有特定指什麼東西, 純粹表達數量

the用法:
1) 前文所提到的東西, 後面又再次提到我們會用 the
I saw a boy wandering in front of my house last night. The guy wore a blue T-shirt and black jeans. He looked weired so called the police.

2) 說話者 and 聽聽話者都知道的前提下, 可以在某事/物前面用 the
[ A 跟 B在動物園裡賞老虎~~ ]
A: Do you see the tiger there? (不能用a tiger)
B: Which one?
A: The one which is staring at me now!

3) 強調某種東西的時候可以用the, 通常都是別的地方沒有, 或者某事/物特別突出.
My family and I went to Sun-moon Lake last weekend. I really like the scenery there!
(there的存在是因為前面the指的是 『Sun-moon Lake`s scenery』如果你後方沒有there, 那麼別人就不知道 the scenery 是指哪裡的景色漂亮了)

4) 全地球上只有那種東西! 獨一無二, 所以用the
the universe, the earth, the sky, the weather, the sun...


a用法:
不定冠詞就比較單純，指一個 / 某個 / 或是像是提到的通用類型（諺語、俗語用法）
A man who hesitates doesnt succeed. (猶豫的人難成功)
在這句諺語裡, a man的確是指一個人, 照字面上的翻譯 : 一個猶豫的人不會成功. 進而衍伸成為 : 所有會猶豫的人都很難成功

你所說的 A dictionary is a book.
字面翻譯 : a dictionary 的確是指一本字典, 一本字典是一本書. 但是因為它是諺語, 所以拿來泛指所有的字典都是好書.

※ 諺語會把意義擴大、衍伸、泛指，但是針對字面上他並不是指『所有』的意思喔！希望我這樣解釋你能懂 ※

日常會話所指事物通常都是具體的，可見可觸摸的。所以我們不需要以諺語這種說法來溝通。

我們問『你喜歡刺青嗎？』算是問興趣、意見、想法，這時候很簡單地說：
Do you like tattoo?
What do you think about tattoo?
Do you have any thoughts about tattoo?

tattoo 是不可數, 所以不必加上 a 或者 -s

She has a tattoo on her arm. (她的手臂上有個刺青)

如果你是詢問對方是否有意願去刺青, 可以說
Do you wish/want to have a tattoo?
