A spaceship travels at uniform velocity, with speed 0.60c relative to the Earth. At noon it passes the Earth; observers on the earth and on the spaceship agree that it si noon.

(a) At 12:50 pm as read by the spaceship clock, the ship passes an interplanetary space station that is fixed relative to the Earth and where clocks read Earth time. What time is it according to the space station clocks?

(b) How far from the Earth (in Earth co-ordinates) is the station?

(c) At 12:50 pm spaceship time, the ship reports vital information by radio back to Earth. When (by Earth time) does the Earth receive the signal?

As the speed of the spaceship is comparable with the speed of light, we have to consider the relativistic effect.
