A balanced diet is the key to good health so we must follow the food pyramid when we eat. The Food Pyramid is important because it is a guideline to help us building a good diet.
The Food Pyramid is divided into 4 floors. At the top of the pyramid is the fats and sugars group. Below, are the daily group and meat group. Than, is the fruit and vegetable group. In the lowest part, is the cereals group.
The Cereal Group is the foundation of the Food Pyramid. The food in the group Cereals like bread, rice and pasta, we should eat more because they can can give us fiber, vitamins we need to stay active.
The Fats & Sugars group is found at the top of the pyramid which means that we should eat less foods from this group. In this group, there are chocolate, sweets and ice- cream. They will make us unhealthy if we eat too much.
Tonight, I decide to have pasta with tomato and vegetables and the dessert is some grapes. Besides, I will drink apple juice. I think it will be a healthy dinner.
