7x+x(x-5)= 7x + x^2 - 5x = x^2 + 2x = 0 >>> x=0, x=-2

x[7 + (x - 5)] = 0
x[7 + x - 5] = 0
x[x - 2] = 0

x = 0

x - 2 = 0
x = 2
