續唔續約真係視乎部門到時既實際需要，但有得做點解仲要諗呢﹖如果你真係再搵到工，到時只要給予足夠通知期(一般係14日)，一樣可以唔做嘛。時勢艱難，珍惜機會！

Why not, you can look for a better job later. It's better to have a job for 7 months than just sending application letter with no reply.
It depend on the work load of that dept., or they need man power to complete new project than might be continue you contact. Before end of the contact you can looking for a better job.
