簡單來說
第一句話的受詞可以被解釋的比較廣泛
可是第二句話的受詞就必須是對方也就是指人

believe: to think that something is ture or that someone is telling the truth.

I don't believe you means you are very surprised or shocked to hear someone not tell you the truth.



trust: to believe that someone is honest and will not lie to your or hamr you.

So, in my opinion, they got same meaning.

"I don't believe you" = 我不相信你.

"I don't trust you" = 我不信任你.

NO, I don't believe you 可以解釋為我不相信你(的話)或是我不相信你(的人)

但是 I don't trust you 就是說我不相信你這個人
