謝安琪說：「我一直希望令大家的眼光放在我感興趣的問題上，例如我的歌談過小巴的速度、茶餐廳文化等，但除了表達香港的生活點滴外，我也想我的音樂可以包含更多元素，令人覺得香港音樂其實也很精彩，香港也有很好的音樂人；當然這不只靠我一個人，我有很好的班底，公司也給了我充足的創作自由與資源。其實現今樂壇裡是有很多擁有相同抱負與思維的歌手的，大家都很想為樂壇做些事，打造一個有健康風氣的樂壇，這也是我的想法。」
