The Question:
Factorise
5m+10
What't the answer and HOW DO I GET IT (THE WORKINGS OUT)?
Thnxs
回答 (11)
Common factor is 5
5 ( m + 2 )
5m + 10
= 5(m) + 5(2)
= 5(m + 2)
You Have to Put it back into the brackets -
5m
5m+10
5 goes into 5 and 10 so you go
5 (m+2) this is it factorised as fully as possible.
5m+10
5(m+2)
this is all u need to do
5m+10
=> 5(m) + 5(2)
Take out the common number "5"
=> 5(m + 2)
To work this out all you have to do is the opposite from expanding brackets. So your answer has to be in brackets. The answer will be 5m +10 = 5(m+2) because 5 x m = 5m and 5 x 2 = 10. If you are still having problems let me know and I will do my best to help you.
take the common outside in 5m+10
5(m+2)
