In this interview project, I would like to compare Hong Kong people in different age groups and foreigners how they comment on Online Shopping through the investigation. Hence, I did make a questionnaire and uploaded it to the internet in order to collect their opinions. Both Hong Kong People and the foreigners are willing to shop online, because it is convenient and time-saving, at the same time, they have high level of concern about sending personal or credit card information over the internet.
There is much complicated and detailed information about the investigation, so that, only one of the most important thing I want to point out in this survey is that Hong Kong people and the foreigners have different purposes of shopping online. HKP tend to purchase some commodity products over the internet while the foreigners tend to purchase services such as hotel reservation and air ticket booking through the internet. It may possibly due to their different culture and life style.
In conclusion, it is my contention that the improvement of the security over the internet can provide a better environment so as to attract more people to purchase goods on the internet.
