香港暫時沒有銷售稅 (香港稱此為 商品及服務稅)
即係在貨品或服務的銷售上徵收稅項, 而該稅項係 產品或服務供應商代為收取並 交納政府的.
此稅項徵收變相係全港市民買野的都會交稅. 借此以來 "擴濶稅基"

There is no such sales tax in Hong Kong. Sales tax means a tax is being charged on items you buy. For example, if a sales tax rate of 3% in going to be levied and, if you buy an item for $100, you have to pay $103, including the tax thereon. Sales tax, sometimes called as consumer tax, is a source of revenue to government.
