✔ 最佳答案
15 - 6x = 3
6x = 15 - 3
6x = 12
x = 12/6 or 2

Answer: x = 2

Proof:
15 - 6(2) = 3
15 - 12 = 3
3 = 3

What is a working step?

The problem itself is rather simple:

15 - 6x = 3
Subtract 15 from both sides
-6x = -12
Divide both sides by -6
x = 2

PART 1 #1 3x - y = 9 #2 2x + 2y = 14 Multiply 2 on equation #1 then add both equation 6x - 2y = 18 + 2x + 2y = 14 --------------------- 8x + 0 = 32 x = 4 Substitute 4 for x into equation #1 (or #2) 3(4) - y = 9 y = 3 So, x = 4 , y = 3 PART 2 0.4x + 3y = 2.6 x - 2y = 4.6 Equations are in decimal point so we must transform it into integers. Multiply 10 on each equation #1 4x + 30y = 26 #2 10x - 20y = 46 Multiply 2 on #1 and 3 on #2 and then add. 8x + 60y = 52 + 30x - 60y = 138 ----------------------- 38x + 0 = 190 x = 5 Substitute 5 for x into #1 4(5) + 30y = 26 y = 1/5 = 0.2 So, x = 5, y = 0.2 There you go! Have fun solving!

OK...this one is really easy once you know the proper procedure

15 - 6x = 3

add 6x to both sides of the equation

15 = 3 + 6x

subtract 3

15-3 = 3-3 + 6x

12 = 6x

divide by 6

x = 2

so...15 - 6(2) = 15-12 = 3

so, there you have it.

15 -6x = 3
Add '6x' to both sides
16 - 6x + 6x = 3 + 6x
16 = 3 + 6x
Subtract '3' from both sides
16 - 3 = 3 - 3 + 6x
13 = 6x
Divide both sides by '6'
13/6 = 6x/6
13/6 = x
x = 13/6 = 2 1/6
2009-05-18 5:29 pm
Add 6x to both sides to obtain: 6x + 3 = 15
Subtract 3 from both sides and: 6x = 12
Now divide both sides by 6: x = 2

15 - 6x = 3

Add -15 to each side of the equation

15 - 6x - 15 = 3 - 15

-6x = -12

Divide each side by -6

-6x/-6 = -12/-6

x = 2

15-6x=3
15=3+6x [add 6x to both sides]
12=6x [subtract 3 from both sides]
x=2 [divide both sides by 6]

15-6x=3
Add -15 both sides
-15 + 15 - 6x = -15 +3
-6x = -12
Divide both sides by -6
-6x/(-6) = -12/(-6)
x = 2. is the answer

15 – 6x = 3 . . . . . . . . . . <- subtract 15 from both sides

15 – 6x – 15 = 3 – 15

-6x = -12 . . . . . . . . . . . .<- divide both sides by -6

-6x . . .-12
––– = ––––
.-6 . . . .-6

x = 2

But this is the VERY DETAILED working steps. There are some steps that can be ignored.

Done
