Well you can separate like terms:
So, you have 4x^2 + 9x^2
-6x + -6x
and 7-5

4x^2+9x^2 = 13x^2
-6x + -6x = -12x
7-5 = 2

Then, you have (13x^2 - 12x + 2)

13 X^2 - 12 X + 2

13x^2 -12x + 2

(4x^2 - 6x + 7) + (9x^2 - 6x - 5)
= 4x^2 - 6x + 7 + 9x^2 - 6x - 5
= 4x^2 + 9x^2 - 6x - 6x + 7 - 5
= 13x^2 - 12x + 2

13x2-12x+2
