解構⻣灰鑚石

灰又點變為鑽石呢? 灰內除碳多還有很多雜質, 造出來灰灰黃黃"失色"diamond. 最先用種方法: 以一於細diamond放在一個密封chamber, 內有molten graphite包圍著, 加高溫3000-3500度C, 及高壓下, 細diamond增大成晶体, 此法製成diamond size有限. 另一法叫chemical vapour deposition--CVD, 將碳氣化為原子, 在高高壓下, deposit onto the surface of a small diamond to produce crystal, 此法可做更大diamond. 在改良用microwave to "cook" these diomomds in hydrogen plasma at 2200 degree C. 可做更大size diamond.
