A1. There are a lot of such accountant associations. In UK, the most popular are Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) etc. ACCA is the largest body in terms of number of members worldwide. Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) is the accountant association in Hong Kong

Q2. 在普遍觀念上又有無高低之分? 有無話 ACCA/HKICPA 會高級過 ifa?
A2. Certainly, ACCA and HKICPA are more well-known and have higher acceptance in Hong Kong. While ACCA is the largest accounting body in terms of number of members worldwide, HKICPA is the only accounting body whose practising members can sign audit report in Hong Kong.

Q3. 我知要做 Auditor 就要入 ACCA or HKICPA, 但如果在一間公司做 FC, 入 ifa 係唔係會好 d ? 或已經足夠?
A3. Honestly, IFA is not so popular. If you are the FC of a company, ACCA or HKICPA will definitely help.
