I don't think you should. There is this big issue about MSG in Chinese food. It's best avoided because MSG is not good for your baby. When I was pregnant I remembe reading an article that said pregnant women should not eat Chinese. So I avoided it. One may say what about all the chinese women out there. Maybe their bodies have built an immunity to MSG. Maybe there is no truth in this MSG thing...but then why take a chance. After all it's your baby....and it's totally dependent on you or the choices you make.

In addition to the MSG, salt and fat, you might want to be careful about the pineapple chunks in the dish (I know many places make sweet and sour chicken/pork with pineapple chunks). Pineapple is believe to enhance uterine contractions, which many old Chinese people believe is bad for the baby and can lead to miscarriages.

You should ask if the chef uses MSG. Not all Chinese restaurants use it and it might be possible to special order the dish without MSG. If they don't use MSG, then you just face the normal health concerns as it's not that healthy given the sugar and salt in the sauce and the fact that the chicken has a thick breading (which some places deep fry).

Still, as a pregnant woman myself (36 weeks!), sometimes your cravings just aren't healthy! As long as you try to eat healthy most of the time, occasional indulgences should be fine for your baby. :)
