For ownership and succession issue : The property could be owned either a person’s named or jointly in the mode of Owners in Common ( 50% : 50% ) or in Joint Tenants ( 100 % ). Joint tenants means if the other party pass away, the remaining one will be the sole owner. This is quite a common practice for a married couple.
For financing issue : Mortgage loan or other arrangements could be made either in a person or jointly with banks. The banks will usually consider the income of the borrower relative to the monthly loan repayment and other financial factors and securities of the borrowers. As each of the banks have different policies, it is a practical and feasible approach first to talk to your bank that you have an account with it. However, you should do some financial projection of your earning, expenses etc. in the future to plan for the home financing.

無論你們喜歡 只用一個人名 或 兩個人聯名 都是沒有問題的,
按揭證券公司是接受以未婚夫婦名義的申請的,
通常也無需要證明的, 只要 供款的比率 不超過收入的45%, 按揭上限可高至樓價的95%。
