9x-y=6
y=9x-6

note y=mx+b
where m is the slope b is the y-intercept..

the slope is 9 answer//

9x-y = 6

-y = -9x + 6

..........-9x + 6
y = --------------------
..............-1

y = 9x - 6

slope = 9 (the coeffisien of x)

The slope is the part next to the x WHEN THE EQUATION IS IN THIS FORM: (slope) * x + (intercept) = y

So minus y from both sides and minus 6 from both sides and you will get:
9X - 6 = Y

Then the slope is 9.
(And the intercept is -6).

9x-y=6
-9x +9x-y=-9x+6
-y= -9x+6
(-1)(-y)= (-1)(--9x+6)
y= 9x -6

9x - y = 6
y = 9x - 6
(slope = 9)

y=9x-6
m=9/1=9
