Slight scoliosis of the cervical spine with convexity on the left side
and loss of the normal cervical lordosis ae noted.
Slight decreased signal intensity is seen in the C2/3, C3/4,C4/5 and
C5/6 discs on the T2 weighted and STIR images suggesting early disc deenertion and dehydration. Minimal right posterior bulging of the C4/5 disc and slight anterior bulging of the C5/6 disc are noted.
No central canal, lateral recesses or neural foramina stenosis is seen in the cervical spine and no sbnormal compression on the cervical sponal cord is noted. No intradural extramedullary mass is seen in the cervical region and the cervicomedullary junction is unremarkable. No epidural or subdural haematoma is seen in the cervical region.
The alignment of the C1 and C2 vertebrae is satisfactor with no C1/2rotatory fixation or subluxation seen. The facet joints are unremarkable with no facet subluxation noted. No marginal spur in the vertebral bodies, fracture or marrow oedema is seen in the cervical spine.
