I have been think about this for a bit and they all seem like good moves.
Leaf Blade: essential attack for him
X- Scissor: good bug attack
Night Slash: good attack plus with razor claw deadly
Thunder Punch: to attack his flying type weakness
Earthquake: to attack his fire type weakness
Dragon Claw: good dragon move and the way my party is planed no dragon types
What would be the best move set for an attack Septile?

Leaf Blade (very good move. my Lefeon knows it.)Thunder Punch (to cover flying weaknesses.)
Earthquake (to cover fire weaknesses)
Dragon Claw (to destroy the random dragon Pokemon you come across.)

Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, Dragon Claw, and night slash. you could go to serebii.net and on the google search there, type in Sceptile. Then if there is apokemon of the week, click on it. It will have movesets and stuff for it.
